IN INDIA, ONE WILL PREDOMINANTLY ENCOUNTER 5 TYPES OF RESIDENTIAL APARTMENTS.
1. BUILDER FLOORS
Builder floor apartments, usually constructed by developers, are restricted to a maximum of four or five floors, including the ground level. The number of units within these apartments varies depending on the builder's design. Notably, these housing units have a lower number of floors compared to high-rise apartment buildings.
2. MULTISTOREY
These apartments comprise more than five floors, featuring a communal area and amenities for residents. Each floor accommodates multiple residential units equipped with essential living facilities. Given their vertical structure, these buildings necessitate the presence of elevators to facilitate easy access to different levels.
3. ROW HOUSES
A collection of residences constructed with identical architectural layouts and designs, positioned consecutively alongside one another, is referred to as row houses. These dwellings are characterised by shared walls and stand in contrast to villas.
4. VILLAS
This represents one of the most opulent forms of residences. A villa is a standalone dwelling situated within an enclosed community, equipped with a wide array of amenities. Furthermore, it is enveloped by exquisite gardens, lush lawns, and a swimming pool.
5. GATED COMMUNITIES
With safety as a top priority, gated communities comprise multistory apartments, villas, and row houses with restricted access, stringent security measures, and enclosed within fenced perimeters and compound walls. Exclusive amenities such as supermarkets, gyms, playgrounds, and restaurants are accessible solely to the residents.
